Or send me money and I'll let you land. I'll even meet you at the airport.

Mary Lou (and anyone else who might be interested),
Here's a recipe for your dinner this evening. It is an awesome recipe, particularly if you like spicy food.

Rosemary-Red Serrano Roast Pork Loin

1 (3 lb.) center cut pork loin roast
1/4 C soy sauce
1/2 C chopped fresh rosemary
8 red Serrano chilies (substitute green if red not available)
1/4 C minced garlic
3 T cracked pepper
1/4 C peanut oil
1/2 C fine bread crumbs made from toasted bread
Salt to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a blender or food processor, combine soy sauce, rosemary, serrano chilies, garlic and pepper. After blending well, slowly add oil, followed by bread crumbs. Set resulting paste aside.

Salt pork loin, then pack rosemary-serrano paste evenly onto all sides of roast. Roast pork until it registers 160 F internally (about 50 minutes). Cut into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices and serve.

Note: accompany this full flavored roast with garlic mashed potatoes and a chipotle demi-glaze, if desired.

Thanks everyone!! The pictures were taken with my new toy!! {I know Cecil, it's the compeditor}The camera is a digital Olympus 4040Z with a PT101 housing..It's pretty easy to use.. I don't have an external strobe yet{ I was good but not that good or so says Santa!!}There is a definite learning curve to digital underwater!!! The delay can be quite frustrating, especially on a drift dive!!! The picture of the Banded Coral Shrimp was on a drift dive and actually I had to turn the photo around in order to show it..in other words I took the picture upside down..Fish pictures are hard to take as the fish don't just sit there and pose for the most part..I got a lot of tail shots!!! here are a few more..

Very very nice, even if you are a certified member of the Olympus cult. :-)

Now tell me digital is not a kick in the butt.

Have you tried the half button press. If you push the shutter trigger half way down you get rid of most of the shutter lag. You still end up doing a ready, shoot, aim, get picture drill. It's the same technique as putting a ball through a windmill, timing is everything.

One favor, Freddie could you e-mail me the original on the turtle, I'd like to play around with it. If that's OK with you? Send it to cecsuej@attbi.com. Blue water shots are a challenge.

Great stuff, Cynde Lee! Very interesting collection of characters in your neck of the woods...similar but yet very different from Bonaire's critters and surroundings.

Rusty: Beautiful work! You'd never know you are still learning. It can be exciting and fun but frustrating at the same time while trying to master digital u/w photography. I will still be "playing" with my Canon S40 this second time around in May/June. I don't dive, so it is even more of a challenge at the more shallow levels of snorkeling. Nice shots posted for us to enjoy, thanks again! Carole (Shutterbug....recently in hibernation)
