I don't know Marc.
Maybe it's Fibbing Sally, 'cause she says "Here I am!" but she isn't here at all :)

lunch Hi Honey, I'm home! Ditched South of the Border - very noisy - the speakers were blasting right over all the booths and you had to shout to be heard across the table. Too much work - so we went to the all you can eat Chinese buffet at Hu Ke Lau! Awesome - the only difference btwn the lunch and dinner buffet is about $6 and no crab legs or shrimp at lunch.

Cecil - you can explain this better than I can:

To get the large format pictures, Jake uses two captures 1/30 second apart and combines them. If you have something moving it will blur or show a ghost image like above.

Now if you want me explain Heisenburg Uncertainty Principle it may take a little longer.

Cecil - just give me the Occam's Razor version, certainly. Or not! LOL I like the ghost birds, neat effect. Is most of your snow gone again? Ours is down to ugly snowbanks around the parking lots at the mall.

Hi Cynde Loo Hoo! Wonder what it wuz that Jake was measuring out? :) I think that's a micrometer - we had to learn to use one in machine shop in high school. That was between making brass stash pipes! LOL We had this space cadet of a shop teacher who was missing half of every finger who believed the students when they said they were making Christmas ornaments. Doh!

Glad you could make it for right coast Happy Hour!

I am tired too. My friend from work came to see me after work, and she brought cards and presents for me and for Emma, wasn't that nice.

Rusty, I know how to use a micrometer. Used one when I was in quality control, in the good ol' days.LOL

Watched a good prog on tv about meat eaters, and how they kill their prey, by Richard Attenborough.

See you guys tomorrow. Annie B.

Thank-you Rusty and Cynde Loo Hoo :)! I am looking forward to my first Christmas here, my parents are spending it with us and it will be their first Christmas spent away from home. :) As for snow, I think it will a brown Christmas here (no grass yet)! All for fun!
