My lil sis's b-day is comming and she wanted some of our "Country Wine" as she calls it so we made the winery run this weekend and I was really looking forward to opening up a new bottle tonight.

There's just days that you need alittle somethin' to help ya thru...and today's one of those days. I'm just sayin', that's all....

I'll just have one large glass while dinner is cooking. Grandad likes to eat at 6:00 so I have to start early on that.

Patrick called me today while I was at Walmart! Poor Patrick, now he knows the prices of all the meat there!! I was freaking out!!! We are SO becoming vegetarians!!! Or, if I ever learn how to make a turtle live, we will start raising our own live stock!!LOL

If you decide to do that PS DON'T NAME THEM. It just makes it harder to eat them.

How is Henry doing?

My step-father cooked our pet rabbit when I was younger and he and mom didn't bother to tell us kids until after dinner. Thought I would just die.

Went to the surgeon's today...he bent over backwards appologizing for the "oppy"...thinks the HIVES are a part of the RASH...he did say he talked to the head of the outpatient surgery and reviewed my case and ripped them a new one for EVERYONE dropping the ball, and recommended that they review their procedures, as I told everyone, but no one listened to me...He also said it was his fault too, because he didn't review my allergies before surgery...but he said at that point it would have been to late cause i was already "prepped" lol...

I'm calling the dermatologist and going to sign my life away and have more lines removed...lol!

absolutly BC you deserve it today. I'm glad the surgeon was understanding but to little to late sometimes. Hope your healing fast.

My Grand parents had rabbits and such too and every Christmas van h**l for me. So imagine my happiness when I moved out. The funny thing is tho, that years later, when I started to travel, I learned to appreciate to eat "fresh" :-\

Allergies are just something that I would like to think EVERYONE checks when you are in the hospital for anything. I'm glad he had "empathy" for your rash/hives/DISFIGUREMENT!, and it IS a little too late. You are suffering for something that you made known to them. WHY?? That's just so disturbing...

I have things that I really want done, but G says I'm fine the way I am. Well, when the skin on my eyelids starts covering my eyeballs, then he can say that!!

Henry is doing ok, I think. I swear, I just don't get why this has become such a "science project" w/ him!! Every day I find something else that is just not right. I gave him his last antibiotic shot this morning and I think he's getting worse. We sat in the sun today, he has his meds in his eyes, he ate, he's warm...I don't know what else to do. I will just wait and see what tomorrow brings.

"Sabasco" is FABULOUS!! He just got a bath, in lavender shampoo...Ooooo, he smells so good!

When you change Henry's water do you treat it or use from the tap???
I had 2 little turtles when I first got married and when we moved into our own place the city water was bad for them because it had additives in it that were suppossed to make it healthy for human consumption but not good for the turtles.

I wish I'd have thought of that!!! He is so cute getting a bath, he totally trusts me. I hold him in my hand, on his back, and he just lays there w/ the water running over him!! Next bath I will take pics. I want to keep bathing him, so he is used to it. He even let me blowdry him and wasn't scared of that. I love my kitten!!!

Anyone got a really ugly pic of me so I can show you the before lines? lol...I just called the derm and am going back on Thursday to have the two wrinkles between my eyes filled, and one by my nose mouth...and then a little more on the puppet lines. She only used one 'syrynge' full cause she didn't want to "overfill"...I called the office and said "i want more wrinkles poofed away" lol...

haha...that's small. I even think I want botox lips now too...omg...this is bad.

My animals only get bottled water. Not because I'm some weirdo animal snob, but because we have well water and it is BAD!!! There was a company not far from us putting chemicals into a lake for a long time, since the '60's. They have found those chemicals still in our water. Our water softener isn't working right, not that it would take the bad stuff out. My dog used to vomit all the time. I started w/ the bottled water a year ago and he's only gotten sick 3 times. So, it's the water AND his nerves. So, my point is, Henry gets Spring Water w/ no additives.

Good thinking with the water Pegi Sue. I grew up with good well water and home and Fla Sulfer water at granny's. Funny, when I get back I always have to have a sip of that sulfer water.

Our water is supposed to be the "Fountain of Youth"... But we live near what used to be Sherwood Medical, and seems they were dumping some nasty stuff for years and everyone around here has bad water. I worry about showering in it...reminds me of "Erin Brokovich"...
