join hands The purpose of Join hands day is to bring youth and adults today together to improve their communities. A benefit of the day comes through the friendships that are made across generations..The new partnership will be a first step in bringing more young people into leadership roles in many organizations...
I myself will take that giant step to bridge the gap between my daughter and the organinzation of her clothes to the washing machine.....
Have a good one...TGIF!

It's...

Today is:
Spill the Salt Day

Salt was our first food seasoning. It also purified water, preserved meat and medicated wounds. It was so highly prized that spilling it became a bad omen. The Sumarians, Egyptians and Greeks all used the gesture of throwing a pinch of salt over the left shoulder to ward off bad luck. The Romans gave their soldiers special allowances for salt rations called salarium (meaning "salt money"). This is the origin of our word "salary" today. anything

Bill,

The above bait balls look like they were silversides - salt water minnows of sorts.
