I have some work to do today, so will be checking in now & then. I also have to work on a new web page since I have to change hosts. Tell us they're raising the rates $100 a year, but only gave us 20 days to decide what to do.

Interesting mystery for today. I happen to read a trip report on ScubaDiving.com about a weekend trip to Key Largo. The gentleman took a picture of a young Hawksbill Turtle that looked alot like the one I photographed in the Middle Keys. Here's the two turtle heads.



I think they are the same, see the three spots behind the scales, same spots.

Sorry, but don't think I can agree with you that it is the same turtle. The large central spot on the left one does not match your shot. It also looks like there is a white line in the central spot that is not evident in your's. Nice to know there are several out there though!

How about an Eagle Ray. I got this on wide angle 3 feet away.

I do love Eagle Rays, have yet to get a decent picture.

On the turtle, I took other pictures and I think I have an top down picture at home. I'll check tonight.
