cool... so when I see a nurse shark today I should giver a hug!?
I can try lol
Once saw this thing on tv about how you can turn a nurse shark on its back, stroke it's belly... then it's supposed to go in a trance and stay all quiet. I think of it each time I see one but wont even consider trying to wrestle one on its back lol. Touched them gently on the tail... just to feel it but no more then that eheh!!
Nice day yall! Off for another great dive... wonder what we'll see ;-)

Hi Freddie - I was going to name the thread - Nurse Linda's Day! :)

fan

Thanks for the updates - it'll be great to have the *kids* come home. Have you renamed your street - Hughes Avenue?

Morning Ya'll. That sounds like a teaser from Bas. What's he going to entertain us with this morning? Just looking through the archives, hope he cleans the cam while he's down there. Please :)

Happy nurses day Lyn and I can't forget Nurse Nona.:)

Actually the street is named after my others father so it already has a family name... I wonder if Bas will dive at small wall today and give us a thrill??

lob Hey Bas, you CAN do that to a lobster. I've seen it done in Oqunquit and Wells, Maine. They just stand the lobster on its head and stroke the carapace and the critter falls into a fugue state! Might have to be a Maine lobster tho - not those FLA bugs.

Did anyone watch "Blue Planet" on the Discovery Channel yesterday? Way cool! Loved all the fish stuff...and they showed the Parrotfish and how they eat coral and poop sand. I instantly thought of our fabulous Bonaire reefcam!

Bomb's away!

Hehehe.. you can do it to me too.. dont even have to stand on my head LoL
Cindy, it wasn't a dive at the reefcam. Went to other site.. very nice, lots of corals, big spunges, 2 sting rays, some tarpon and a lobster carrying a load of eggs under her tail. Was rough getting in and missed our exit point by about 60 feet. Came in right on the spot, even headed a bit north taking the current into account but in the last 40 feet to shore there was a VERY strong current going south (across) Still managed to get out without scrapes and bruises :-) pfffff

Hiya everyone hiya
Here's a good pic of Kevin snorkeling down to the reefcam Kev
I didn;t make it on the reefcam. Jake and Martin helped me loads, and gave me lots of weights to help me get down. I even changed from my wetsuit to skins to get rid of some boyancy. Boy am I boyant!!!! LOL
Anyway gang. I am back safe and sound. I have not slept for a day and a half, might be more. My brain is getting foggy. I am off to bed, and will log on again after work tomorrow night. night

Hi Jenni,

Good to see you made it back ok. Was thinking of you guys when I saw the KLM fly over... we were snorkeling at Andrea.
Was nice chatting here and there when we ran into each other.
Haven't seen Martin yet.... could use the garlic press he brought along ;-)

I snorkeled at Andrea on the Friday before I left. I really liked it. So, I am jealous of you. I looked from the plane, but I didn;t see you. :-)

nite Night, honey! Sleep tight!

Bas - thought you were going to wrassle a nurse shark for us! Darn! Oh well - next one on Bonaire gets to hypnotize Bas by rubbing his belly. (Hope he isn't ticklish - that'll never work!)
