yoyo Good morning, buddies! I'm off to work around 9 am. Phhht.

Yo-Yo Day

Yo-yos may be the world's oldest toys. 3,000 year old stone yo-yos have been found in Greece, and ivory yo-yos were made in China about 1000 B.C. Popular with the French royal court and in Victorian England, they came to the U.S. with the emigrants. Three presidents (Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon) publicly displayed their skill - and in 1992, a yo-yo went into space with astronaut Jeffry Hoffman on the space shuttle Atlantis.

Welcome back Holly. All up to date on the latest in HazMat removal.:) I get to set up a drum pickup rendevous next week (oh, how exciting my life is)

Cecil hasn't really done a trip report. He posted a few pics in sunsets sundae, sunset strip, monday monday, kiss your mate sunday (which has a very good capture of Jenni dancing for us). I think that's it. He's feeding them to us little by little. Such a tease. :)

Martin's on the island for a month, Jenni comes back the 5th, Meryl's going down the end of May. Cynde Lee posted a very small Charleston trip report (she owes us more - I mean, it's not like she has a lot of work to keep her busy or anything like that. LOL). Cecil's pics are fantastic. I wish he'd post more instead of doling them out 1 or 2 a day.:)

That's about all I can think of. We've all been pretty busy for the last couple of weeks. Oh, check out the Earth day celebrations on the cam and community threads. Jake set the reef cam to 1-min. instead of 2. Got some great shots.

Pretty strange stuff, I wonder how it was done. It looks like a computer generated picture, but knowing how the captures are done that seems unlikely, but it still looks that way. Notice no silt between the camera and the car.

As far as my pictures only come out a few at a time, that's all I've been able to do every night. Tonight I'll make a new thread and put all of them in one place, if anyone has the time this afternoon, it would be appreciated.

Was just teasing you Cecil. I know how time consuming the pics are. You've given us some great shots so far. btw, time for what?

there's a line tied around the top of the car, then floats off to the left. Jake says it looks like a mini and suspects Bas. Probably sitting on the block above the cam. LOL

Someone could grab the ones I've posted so far and put them in one thread. Just being lazy, I've got way to much work to catch up on. Speaking of teasing, you guys have not seen any sharks, bait balls, baracuda, christmas worms or moray eels yet. I got something like 200 keepers, one of the most amazing things is most are perfectly framed. The ones I've posted so far are all as framed. I do love that little TV and the half shutter press.

Heyyyyy

Great capture... thanks!! :-) That worked out very well.
Was a pretty nice dive also.. 2 biggish squid that came very close.. nice bluespotted cornetfish.
Hmmm also an a dive a few days ago, saw 2 african pompano.. both had 4 colored threads (about 1-1/2 foot long) from their dorsal fin. Amazing and very pretty!! At first I thought they were crevalle jacks but then they turned around and came very close. Nine years of diving here and still see something 'new' once in a while.
