Continued from another thread. Jerry has a headache and so rather than make it worse, we'll play the game here on this thread.

Online Ballderdash.

Now, you have to "imagine" that we are all sitting in the same room and playing the game. NO CHEATING. Cheating would be looking up the answer, via online, dictionary, whatever. You read the question, and then choose the best answer. Again, no cheating!!!!

So, I am going to type a word, and then give 3 possible definitions. Choose which definition you think fits with the word...NO CHEATING by looking up the word.

quay

1. denoting the standard keyboard on English-language typewriters, word processors, etc.

2. fume obtained from a strongly scented E. Indian plant.

3. solid, stationary, artificial landing place for loading and unloading ships.

I'm guessing answer 3!

She got it and posted:

Ok...plenipotentiary

1. a talented student
2. a diplomatic agent
3. one who reaches their partial potential

I guessed wrong...Christine got it, number 2. a diplomatic agent.

Christine, your turn!
