So I had a wonderful morning, enjoyed a beautiful beach-front rollerblade session, coffee on the patio... you know ~ without a care... until I get to the shop!

It seems the dive shop's (from whom I sublease) pool pump sprung a hose some time during the night and flooded the building :-(
We're pretty lucky, water only came 1/2 way into our showroom but now I get to move everything and use that wet-vac I so cavalierly teased Ms. Cynde about.
The dive shop employees said there was at least 6 inches of water in the building...
~ this too shall pass ~

Think about how bad it could have been.

Look at the 4 spots. (Want a smile)

OMG, Jerry Thank YOU!!! I only did the circles (very cool indeed ~ I'm not really here alone :-)) and then got to the Feline Football player - I'm on the floor (dry part only!). Tooo Funny :-)
I'll save the rest of the thread for after I'm done vacuuming.
It's getting stinky in here.

Boom, that'll learn ya. We don't take our wet vac's name in vain round here.

Nice vacuum Jerry!

GH, send the helmet to her she needs it.

Oh yeah Boom, make sure you plug the wet vac into a ground fault outlet. Rubber boots are a plus. SNORT!!! Gosh it feels good to feel good! Next?

All's well that ends well :-)
The carpet cleaning crew is here with the big guns! No need to subject myself to the possibility of electrocution. Or the helmet, Hah!

Tom- so glad to hear that your feeling better. It's nice to have you back.

Cleared to dive after Bonaire, that's some good/ironic news. Well, just like the Sox, there's always next year. That goes for you too Tom, bummer about your fall. Is Smack going without you? Dive buddies are such sluts.

Yes, John is going, fortunately a few friends of ours are going to be there, there are also a few good friends that live on Bonaire so John Boy won't be lacking dive buddies:-)

Why can't mornings that start off so good, just stay that way. Sorry about the water, hope it's all cleaned up now.

Jerry, that is Kyle's way of cleaning. He wants to mow every other day since we moved onto 3.5 acres and bought a John Deere. I think he would park it in his room if we would let him. He even waxed it after mowing last week.

Kelly, that is great news about getting cleared to dive. Now if only you could go back to Bonaire...

Jerry...first round of chemo tomorrow. Things look very good! :-)

GH - I'd wear it! My last trip to Bon I dove with 10 different people. Of course three of them were my main partners, but I wasn't picky. You want to dive, I'm there for you!
