I took the day off yesterday, 1st real day off in 3 mouths. NICE!

No, that's not me, it's the tooth ferry. That should scare the hell out of the kids.

Hi QGH,
Nice to be missed.
I will be taking more time off in the next few weeks, not for pleasure, my dog Caymus has a lump on his rear leg. Had Cancer removed last year from the same spot. Not as big as the last time, but it's there never the less. Here we go again.

Hope all is well with you?

Thanks Gail,
He goes in Mon afternoon for the big test, then we see?????

He's my best friend, and we'll do what ever it takes to get him up and running. Last time he was down for only a week, and the mass was three times the size. I'm sick over this.

Jerry, will think positive thoughts for Caymus! I am so sorry to hear about this, it is very hard when a pet has problems, on you and them. Hope it works out well and you caught it early.

Jerry, critters are the best, aren't they? They are the most devoted pals in the world. It goes both ways, though: Caymus is lucky to have found somebody who is his best friend, too. Gosh I wish you the best.

Jerry - sorry to hear about Caymus as well. My female dog had two large lumps removed from the side of her neck which were cancerous. The vet said she had never seen anything quite like it because they came out as full lumps, they didn't have to dig and cut.

Spec, my male dog just had to have his crucia repaired so he's a tri-dog right now and Monty, our long time cat (gorgeous and friendly linx point siamese)is missing.

We have two newish kittens and one of them has a lump on her back that I am hoping is just a fatty deposit. I swear when this family gets on a "topic" it never seems to end.

I'll say extra prayers for him Jerry and for you as well.

Oh my...I'm away all day and we have some critters in need. Of course, that really hits me in the heart. Cancer should be outlawed in animals! They just don't understand it and it is so hard for their humans to "fix" that one. Good thoughts for Caymus and for the missing kittie.

Hi Jerry,
Just found this thread and hope Caymus's tests come out all right and the surgery goes off without a hitch. Golden's are the best!:-)

Jingles and Squirrel wish him well, too:

Dear Jerry, Please remember that it is better for Caymus to "walk" in rather than be "carried " in for surgery.. In other words better to do this while he is still strong rather than when he is sick and worn down...
Good luck ,lots of hugs to you all
