Pat, My oldest daughter's name is Callie. It's not a name you hear very often. She made us grandparents 18 months ago. Our little granddaughter's name is Margo. You're going to have sooooooooo much fun with this little Callie. Congratulations to the whole family!!

diana, what is your daughter's full name? my granddaughters name is calloway patrick. apparently, calloway is a family name from a family that is very close to my daughter in law...and they also have a tradition of giving the babies (boy or girl) a middle name taken from another relative.

i'm still working on a picture. i can't get the pics down to the 50k limit. be patient...she's a cutie and it will be worth it.

kelly, i'm going to email you a picture to show riley. we can fix them up young.

I love those names! Can't wait to see pics! Both my boys have my maiden name as a middle name.

Pat - do you use Photoshop? If so, I've found that using the "Save to Web" under the File drop down list works wonderfully. You can see the file size in the box that comes up and adjust it by changing the quality (using the slide tool in the upper right). I'll be home in about an hour and am happy to help.... I can't wait to see your granddaughter!

boom, yes i just used photoshop and tried the save to web part. i might have it closer to 50k now...here it goes again. hey, i'm nothing if not persistant.

ok...still just a bit too big...getting closer tho...that one was down to 52K. i'll try again soon

I usually change my image size to:
300 dpi, 400 width

then I use the quality slide bar after I Save to Web to adjust for the file size (the file size will be shown at the bottom left).....

sure eileen, we're starting to take bids for senior prom dates now. caitlin turned 2 last month...connor is almost three months old...callie will be four weeks old on monday.

Pat, Quinn turned 2 in April, Perfect match for Caitlin, and he has blonde hair (see profile pic). Riker is (yikes) 5 months next week, another blondie (the brown hair in the profile pic is his newborn hair which has since almost fallen out), but we have already married Riker off. You have beautiful Grandchildren Pat!

We'll take as long as it takes to see all your pictures. How bout that.

the grandkids are really great...even tho i don't think i'm old enough to be a grandparent...i know i don't act it anyway. one is in charlotte, two are in denver...we're in cleveland..don't get to see them often enough but we take advantage of the time we have.

thanks darlene, mary is going to denver wednesday to visit the first two grandbabies...i'm sure she'll have at least one or two (hundred) pictures when she gets back. maybe by then i'll learn to post all by myself.

when we see you this winter you should probably plan a day or two just to look at all the pictures we'll have by then.

We just LOVE baby pictures here - regular, grands, or furry!
