OK call me delusional but when I came off vacation my manager says I need your help to motivate the team I want to do something to the theme So you think you can dance.
Well I said So you think you can sell if you don't sell xxx products you have to dance.
So we picked the dances the salsa rumba twist foxtrot tango hiphop waltz polka. There is twelve of us in banking center so you pick one person and then another person name they become seller/dance partners and then you pick a dance example mine was salsa if I did not sell three business lines of credits and 5 home equity lines then my partner and I would have to do the salsa on friday morning meeting.
I thought oh lets make this even more fun it will be video taped for prosperity. Plus you have from friday to thursday close of business next week to accomplish it every week for the whole month of august.
Did I count on it being slow , Did I count on people on vacation little miss goal oriented who has never failed a sales goal is freaking out about now because heaven forbid I have to Salsa and the worse thing about it the regional ex just happens to be scheduled to be at our meeting so he gets to watch can you say HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have no rhythm or maybe I can take Paul Dr. note white out his name and put no physical exercise for 3 months .

I wish I could help, if I lived close to you - I will be right there ringing the doorbell. Salsa or dancing is not hard --- feel the music !

You left out disco. Dang. Nothing makes me laugh more than to twirl, well, except for dancing to Kung Foo Fighting or getting funky, maybe. I could help with that, or 90s techno "lost in it" dancing, or any 60's stuff I learned from my way cool aunts. I'm practicing salsa, but need lessons, I always end up throwing the "worm" thing in it. lol. You've got your work cut out for you and good luck, Ms. Evolving SB.

Oh, salsa? Well, you've got me there. And disco... Kathy? Yucky pooh! Didn't Ted Nugent kill disco at one time or another? And hey, whatsomatteru that you can't dance to Kung Foo Fighting. That's like saying you can't dance to "Jenny, Jenny...867-5309"

What's the deal here, you try your best, you'll look like a fool, you'll be embarrassed, everyone will laugh and they'll go on to the next thing. I would not worry about being a good salsa dancer, I would shoot for the worse possible salsa dancer. Easier to do and a better result, now there's a goal.

Kathy, next time I come visit I'll bring the wine and teach how to dance salsa.

SB - rent the movie "Havana Nights" and you sure will see how they dance salsa, it is a pretty good movie. Let me know.

Jon, I LOVED disco! (yeah, I'm weird)
And Kung Foo Fighting is one of the songs we play when we're acting fools and dancing (which Larry and I do alot on the lanai at night). It's better than boring exercise, and we laugh so much we get an ab workout. lol

Vira, I really was practicing the salsa last night. I think I've "got it"....maybe. Just add wine. Maybe you can get away again soon.

ok I made a plea deal and because no one made the goal I said lets just do one dance all at the same time and said lets go for the twist so we did the twist all together it was fun and good bonding. We held the drawing for this week I picked the waltz which isnt to bad because those goals are very attainable 1 refi 5 checking and 3 line of credits . I already have the refi and 1 line of credits and 2 checking.
Cynde I love that picture. I have to find the proper name for the chicken dance because I sweeten the deal with the regional ex if we all make our goals then the regional team has to come and dance for us he agreed a great sport I think the chicken dance would be a great dance.

I'm in always wanted to go to alaska was hoping we would get station there when Paul was in the army but never happen. Dance info update this week doing real good I only have to get one more home equity line and I don't have to dance this week . Dan I hope you know how to do the funky chicken in your dance school because that is one of the dances that I might get stuck with if I draw it one week and don't make it.
