I actually got a night off and played with some recent pictures. In tonight's batch the first are from Old Garden Beach and then from Folly Cove both on Cape Ann, Ma.

This is the mother of all Moon Snails.

This bug was pretty cool, notice the claws lowered. Normally they are in defensive mode with the claws opened and raised. This guy was very laid back and actually came out to see me.

Favorite shot, Crab Love.

I found this growing out of the house.

You think we've had some rain.

This is from last weekend and where we stopped for afternoon drinks.

Verrry cool, almost COLD pics, Cecil! (IS it cold?)

I've never seen a flounder with eyes raised like that, or a snail that big, or starfish that plentiful. Nice little patch of ocean you have there. Thanks for sharing it with us. :-)

Really nice pictures Cecil, worrying fungi though as it must be feeding off the wood.

Yes Denise I do have a dry suit now. It does not keep me dry, but it does keep me warm. Kathy it was day dive, I've been messing with exposures to darken the background.

Brian not any more, that piece of wood is now firewood. It was actually the vinyl channel that was the problem, not long enough to stop the water from getting under it.

Nice pictures Cecil! Oh how I miss Cape Ann, Folly Cove was my favorite dive site on the Northeastern shore for many years. Nice to revisit the area vicariously through your camera.

By the way, my wife Kathi got dry suit certified last summer in Alaska. I watched her go down. We did a couple dives in Maine in 93 off of Beauchamp Point near Rockport. We had 7 mil suits, gloves, hoods, etc. It was still freakin cold and it was in July!!! I'll stick to my shortie in Bonaire.
