Yesterday Timmmmmmmmy gave me an idea how we might be able to raise some funds foe a good cause.

Lets have a SPAM cook off.
Everyone can enter a dish, or full blown meal made with SPAM.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a $5.00 donation requirement.
All entry's must be submitted by July 25th.
I am hoping one of the Mods will take charge of collecting the funds.
I will be the judge.
Winner picks what good cause the funds go to.

Here are a few simple rules.

No ice cream.
You can enter as many times as you want @ $5.00 a pop.
No coping.
Cook-off ends July 25th at 5:00PM.

I think it sounds like a hoot. I'm not sure I'll have time to play though. I'm leaving on vacation and swamped trying to get everything done. I'll try though. No spam ala mode?

Jerry this sounds like a blast. But WAIT! I don't cook! LOL!!! Can't wait to see what recipes turn up. You know, I have never in my life had spam. All those camping trips, hiking trips, etc....not one bite of it. I guess I will have to try the winning recipe.

We had spam and eggs when I was a kid. Spam sandwiches, too. Then I read the ingredients. ACK! But I might try. Surely there's some way to disguise spam. Cut it into shrimp shapes? lol Let me think about it.

I'm game --- no copying though... darn, I have a Hawaiian cookbook that would have made this so much easier.
