Back from Bon..PBD bad...getting ready for work...ick!

Had a great trip which I'll post pics and report later. What I really want to remind everyone is to tell those you love how much you love them often...more often than you do now...life is short, and you never know when or how it will end. If you are angry, unhappy, or not really pleased with those you love, make it right and remember just how much they mean to you and tell them...why am I typing all this?

I learned when on Bonaire, after Michael and Dylon got home that one of my very good friends, just 46 years old, has died of brain cancer. She has left behind a 5 year old son and husband. She has been battling with this for a long time, and we hadn't heard from her husband in about a month and I told Michael before we left for Bon that I was worried, as no news could mean the worst...and it was. Ginny Schroeder, you were a great gal, a great friend, and a great artist...you will be missed. She painted as a hobby and I have 2 pieces of her art in my home. When Sarah was about 10, she helped Sarah paint a picture...she meant a lot to Sarah as well as they lived in So Cal when Sarah was growing up, before they moved to Conneticut. I have tears...

So, live hard, love harder, and forgive even harder...and tell that person you love, just how much they mean to you...often

Cynde, your message is heard loud and clear and is very, very wise. I think that there are many here on BT (and everywhere, for that matter) that should read and re-read your advice and try as hard as they can to learn from it. Peace, love, and forgiveness are absolute necessities.

Hi Cynde.

Big hugs for the loss of Ginny. My heart goes out to her husband and son also.

It was a pleasure to meet you, and have the opportunity to share a dive. We took today off too, just for good measure. I just finished cutting the mile high grass, and John has just finished hanging all of the freshly washed gear on the back porch to dry. Yesterday was spent playing with the kids, today with our laundry and chores, and tomorrow it's back to work. :-(

Oh - to only win the Lotto!

Thanks all:-)

Kathy, I'd come to that realization a long time ago, but it seems that when we get caught up in every day life, we sometimes make telling our loved one's less of a priority until we get another wake-up call/reminder. It just sucks so bad to loose so many friends so young...to cancer:-( This is the third friend in 3 years in their 40's I've lost:-(

Cynde, I am so sorry for your loss. I try to remind myself of your message everyday. It's very easy to take people for granted and just assume they will be there tomorrow. Thank you for reminding me of that. Hugs to you.

Cynde, so sorry to hear about your friend. Thanks for the reminder... it is sooooo easy to forget and assume our loved ones know. Things like this are so sad since they are so untimely. Hugs to you and her family.
