Actually, I was trying to edit but my dang network is running sooooo slowly....
my big day was last month :-) I've managed to have a dinner in Vegas the week before, a party here the day of, a weekend in Carlsbad (w/said best friend and family) and now this wonderful display :-)
I'm one smart cookie!!
Oh, and, I did many special things today - long walk with my old dog, long rollerblade, an afternoon spent with my kitties and you all :-)

Truthfully, I just LOVE birthdays :-) Unabashedly, shamefully, and sincerely.... I try to always appreciate my birthday. And not for the presents, I have learned to ask for donations to charity rather than presents for me - small house syndrome :-), but for the sheer joy at a chance to get it right!!!!
I have a plaque where I'll see it every day that says:
Don't regret growing older
It is a privilege denied to many
So I try to live each day for myself and my brother who lost his life at 21.
