WOW!! Congratulations Eileen & Joel - that's got to be the best feeling (I mean the I Love You, not the regular cup :-))

We had a nice weekend - I planted zucchini, mint, basil, beans and a mess of other plants yesterday. Then made a wonderful dinner as the full moon rose over the trees.
The house looks so nice- it's hard to leave for work!!

Eileen, that's what it's all about.
Boom, I know the feeling, we love our home as well.
I sit by my koi pond with a glass of wine, life can be sooooo gooood at times.

We had a very nice and relaxing weekend. Yes, I did make some lemon chicken - it was breaded and baked - YUMMY!

Last night we went to see Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - good flick! I know the critics will probably toss it out but it doesn't matter to me what other people think, I certainly enjoyed it and am ready for my life on the water.

Had a very nice weekend here as well, though I did nothing but swimming, fishing and gardening - oh, and in between sitting out on the lanai in the intermittent rain. :-) I planted a papaya tree and found a HUGE bloomed purple hibiscus, so when it was raining it was a good thing.

Boom, we were fishing last night at the Sunshine Skyway pier (the ends of the old bridge beside the new one), and for a few moments I had a perfectly pink and round sun just above the water to my right - in a glorious pink, purple and orange sky reflecting same colors on the water, and a perfectly white full moon a little higher in a deep blue sky over blue water to my left.

We all like to visit "Edens", but it's nice to have one at home, too. Very important to make our homes places we love to be. :-)

So far so good. It seems that all went well for everyone, that's nice for a change. No hugs had to be sent out.

Mara, glad to hear Pirates of the Caribbean is worth seeing, because we've been hesitant about seeing it due to the reviews!

Mara, does the new Pirates of the Caribbean pick up where the old one ended, or a new story?

Hi, all. Glad you had a good weekend. It was quiet here for a change. Enjoyed some home time.

I hear Pirates..II was pretty good. We were supposed to see it Sunday, but plans fell through. We're going to try for Tuesday night.

So-so. My girlfriend's Ex came to town and thought her house would be a great place to stay while visiting their kids, which was really, seriously uncomfortable!

So, girlfriend and I went to open houses all day Sunday--whew, glad that's over (in another thread). Then we get back home to find the Ex and her kids in MY pool!

Unh? Whatever happened to college kiddies getting internships in strange and faraway lands?

Jon, I'll bet the Ex made pee-pee in your pool.

LOL. You crack me up, Jerry. Sorry you had to deal with that Jon. Sounds like you were a perfect gentleman. Bravo!

As for the Pirate's movie - yes it pretty much does take up where the last one left off. And if you have been reading, they just kept on filming the next sequel so we know Pirates III is coming but you will have to wait until May 2007 for that one.

As I said, I enjoyed it though it is long but it really didn't feel that way. It just makes me want to run out and buy a beautiful sailing yacht - oh wait - I'm land locked - never mind!

Oh and Jon - I'm going to have to second Jerry - I bet he did pee pee in the pool pool. Just do a super chlorinate - it'll be gone.

I guess it wouldn't help for me to tell you that our college kid does do some of those types of internships. She's up in Long Island until the end of July this year and each year she has been away for at least 6 weeks. Sorry Jon.

We went to see Pirate's II and were not impressed. I loved the first one but was pretty disappointed in the second. It's hard to put my finger on why we did not care for this one. It just seemed long and more of the same. Having an octopus for the main bad guy did not help, I can not imagine a less intimidating critter than an octopus.

We had a grown up date and went to see The Devil Wears Prada and I LOVED it! I had read the book and commented that I wanted to see it, and voila! Steve was indulging me because of all our stress lately. I got to see MY movie, and we went to my favorite restaurant, Brio. We had a great day. And of course we went to Baby Gap and bought poor, naked Riley some more clothes.

Riley stayed with Uncle Rob and Aunt April for a few hours and had a blast. And to tie it all together, I think he peed in their pool, too.

Kelly, Ashley and I want to see that movie. Steve is such a good guy, Kyle and Ken have no interest in seeing it.

I took the kids and saw Pirates II on Friday. I liked it, but it did seem long and the ending left it open for Pirates III. Cecil, I agree it was hard to be afraid of the octopus and the ending turned me off. I think I liked the first one better. I know I will go see the next one too just so I can figure out .... well I don't want to give it away to those who haven't got to see it yet.
