Hey guys...I know you have been kicking around the raising money issue... and I personally knew about the moderator change..but I/we did not know about the "BT might go away by years end"
Soooo... I think, for others to get involved...really involved,we should have an idea of what it takes to keep BT alive.
1. Do you know what operating costs are for the year
2. Can this cost or a part of it be included in the price for our yearly memberships.
3. Can our membership be raised a few bucks to make it reasonable for everyone
4.Contributions also are great..but if we knew how much is needed this could "plant" a better idea in our minds.
5. This should be on the community board...as this would be where I think alot of the funds would come from...

Meryl - I tried to post over there to but could not. I thought our yearly memberships were to support the web cam not BT - since they are 2 different entities. Someone please clarify.

I too would like to know the answer to these questions and have one more.

Since BT is currently not tax exempt - if a donation is made before they are made tax exempt would that still fall under the write off category.

Seb - the only email that I got was one that apologized - so I did not have a clue as to what you were apologizing for until I looked here.
