Where can I go to use my wireless laptop? I am staying at the Divi? Is there any place around.
Thanks for any help.
Dan

Hi Dan,
try Chat n browse just north of the circle next to Lovers Ice cream.. Michael will set you all up with an account and you can sit outside 24/7 and be on the net.. Also I think that Kevin at the Great Escape has wireless and also the restaurant and bar area of Capt. Don's {go to the office for details}

I'll configure you for wireless access if you will be here more than a couple of days. Otherwise, I'll cable your laptop into my network while you are here, because it is simpler, more reliable, and I don't have to reconfigure your laptop to do it.

Kevin, I assume you can configure the hook up regardless of where someone is staying on island? Can you please email me the specifics on the charges for such a hook up (for future reference)?

Thanks,

Cynde

Thanks Kevin.
I get into Bonaire on 25th of Feb. Late that night. I head home on the 6th. How far are you or the Ice Cream place from the Divi?
Dan

Other side of town, Dan. But remember it's a small town, maybe 10 minutes (12 minutes during rush hour). The trip back is the most fun, you get to cruise the waterfront. The trick is to turn right at the fishing sign just past Harbour Village. Then you get more waterfront.

Dan, it is on the main road heading South (you would turn left exiting the airport rather than right). If you drop your luggage off and check in at the Divi, then take Cecil's directions to get back on the main road heading south, after you pass the airport you will pass the signs that point to Sorobon (stay on the main road) and when you see the Belmar on the right, the road will have a "Y", keep to the left and the Great Escape is just on the left of the "Y".

And as Cecil says, it's a small town/island, just a 5 minute drive.

Looks like others pretty much responded for me. I was busy today fighting the aftermath of an electrical fire that left us without power for most of the day (and closed the kitchen for lunch ... sorry, Trish). Despite the people that will describe me as being distant, I am only a couple kilometers south of the airport, and closer to the Divi than Chat'n'Browse. Cyn's directions are spot on.
