I can't believe you are so far ahead of us - the tomatoes can't even go in here for at least a month and that's taking a chance on frost. Memorial Day is the usual planting time!

The Tabibua does look like the catalpa family - with that downy fluff inside the pods!

Is that a monster Opuntia? and a Crown of Thorns? Fabulous! When I was in college I found a prickly pear growing on campus near here - next to a wall of the college power plant. Who'd have thought they could survive this far inland?

Had a hard time with computers, and then busy with work, and Easter, and more work. Got to get those pennies in so I can come to Bonaire.

And lo and behold the day I decide, 'this is enough, I haven't even logged on' what do I find? When I find you that is, it is Dancing Day. How wonderful!!!

Jenni! Hi, I was thinking of you when I saw the dancers in Meryl's post first thing this morning! Been dancing, lately? Quiet afternoon underwater but you never know when we'll have visitors.

Hey Jenni, wondered where you were. Welcome back.

Well, I had to make an emergency run to Tampa. Jim called from work and I had to go get him. He hit an old guy on a motorcycle and bashed in the front of the truck. Both of them are ok, but the truck looks worse than the bike. Thank goodness it was one of those BIG BMW bikes, probably saved the guy's life, but it sure did a job on the Ranger. Jim went next door to Nurse Nona for some drugs to knock him out for a while. He's pretty shook up. Poor Baby!!!

I bet that couple up there is Chuck and wife. I told him he had to check in with us. Linda, can you check the book, please?

He's the one asking about the web list of things to do on Bonaire.

Hi Rusty. Yes, we went dancing Good Friday night, Easter Saturday night, and Easter Monday night.
caption
We gave Sunday night a miss, cos we were tired, and watched TV and slept. Probably did us as much good too!
Since we switched last weekend to European Summer Time, or as we used to call it British Summer Time, there are 5 hours difference between the UK and Bonaire. According to my diary the US had daylight saving this coming weekend, will the difference revert to 4 hours? caption

Thanks, Cindy. Blimey, sure sounds awful what happened with Jim. I'm not suprised he's shook up. Poor Jim!

I don't think Bonaire does the daylight savings thing. I remember last year it was the same time here and Bonaire and we're usually an hour behind them.

His only physical damage is the left hand where the airbag got him. That's why I always hold my steering wheel at the bottom. I've read those things can break your wrist if you hold the wheel in the traditional 10-2 position.

He's up now, so I'd better run. ttyl

Cindy, Wish Jim well! He must be shocked by the accident. Thankfully they both are more or less OK.

According to me there is no DST on BON.

Freddie :) You're right, maybe fondling a rock will help. LOL Actually, that's how I know he's depressed. He hasn't turned on the rock saw or checked on the garden. maybe I should call Nona & find out what he's on.
