Belize was our last winter trip before we discovered Bonaire in 1999. We stayed at the Green Parrot on Ambergris and really loved it!! Very small operation, all meals could be included, about 6 units. Ex-pat American couple -- at least when we were there. It was NOT a resort, just a couple with a small business. Accessible only by boat, but they'd drop us off in town when we wanted to go anywhere there.
