Here's hoping that the neurosurgeon can set a date real soon to get that alien critter out of your skull.

Sorry no gif's, I'm on a slow dial-up that keeps hanging up on me when I try to do slow stuff.

Linnea,

Thanks so much! Just got out of the hospital today after another "episode". Tumor has grown around one of the major vessels in my brain. Going to UPENN tomorrow AM, surgery to be scheduled within next week or 2. I will let you all know when and where. I'm going to try and see about getting a laptop so that I can keep in contact while I'm in hospital. All of the tumor will not be removed, so I will be having radiation after. Love to all!

Liz

Can't sleep...I will be having radiation therapy to shrink and kill the rest of the tumor. Thanks all for your prayers.

Liz - wishing you the best of luck today and I will talk to you tonight to see how the conversations with the surgeons go. Sending you big hugs too!!!

All - Liz and Ed (Liz's last episode that landed her in the hospital this weekend really scared Ed very badly) needs all of our thoughts and prayers right now.

I know that she is very grateful for all the support that BTers show her. One thing we need to come up with is ideas for cool do rags for her soon to be bald head. She already thought of a flamingo one. Anyone else have any other ideas?!?!?

I have JUST the place to get the do-rags (every style-maven should have moer than ONE, after all):

This is where I picked up the purple hats that Darlene, Denise and I wore on the BeachBar Cam.

Susan,

Love the 3 point Billibanas! Ok all, latest update.

Surgery scheduled University of Penn Medical Center, Philadelphia Wed. Dec 1, 2004, sometime in early am.

The operation should take about 3-4 hours. I had my PA testing done today and I donated a pint of blood for myself for surgery.

I met with Dr. Kevin Judy (he has assured Ed that if I don't want to wait for total baldness he can take care of it in the OR with an extra sharp razor LOL) and his WHOLE team. Pretty cool, I have a whole team that will be taking care of little ole' me! Dr, his nurse, 3 NPs, social worker, etc.

After surgery I will be taken directly to the Neurology SICU where I will stay for about 24 hours. Then I will go to a regular neuro room for about 4-6 days.

Well, I'm going to do everything I can to get ready for Christmas (my mom is doing Thanksgiving). I still want my house decorated, cards sent, tree up, shopping, etc. I should get it all done, thank goodness for the internet.

Thanks again from both Ed and I. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Liz
