I knew I'd miss her... but I REALLY miss her !!! lol When I told her I'd miss her, she said, well just think how I felt when you were in Bonaire without me. My argument, of course, was that at least she could SEE me... lol.. I bet our little muffin is having a blast on her long-overdue getaway with Michael. They deserve to have tons of fun !

Good Tuesday to everyone ! How are we all today??

Hi Kelly! I didn't congratulate you with your wedding, what a nice way to go! All the best for you and your hubby!
My week has been strange, been out for the weekend with our softball club, had a great time! Walking through the woods at night, without seeing anything, love it! ;-) No realy, it was fun, Saturday night we did a smuggler game, we had to smuggle all kinds of drugs (I live in Holland, you know ;-) ) through a wood, walking on a compass, with an oil lamp. On the way we met several actors (customs, drugsdealer, tramp, etc) with whom we had to negotiate to get through, or who could show us the way, it was fun! But then, when we got home, our oldest cat Kayleigh turned out to be very sick. She was skinny, old, etc, but still doing fine when we left, now she could barely stand on her feet, was even thinner,.. Yesterday I went to see the vet, we realy thought we would lose her. He could not find anything serious though (no diabetes, organs felt OK etc) He drew some blood to do lab tests, gave her a lot of fluids. We got some special food, which she had to eat, we should force her when nescesary. Luckily she wanted to eat a little when we got home, and even more in the evening. Today she is looking even better, eating more, more alive etc. So hopefully we can pull her through. Also wait for the blood results. She's over 16 years old, so you never know when it will end,...

Hi, Karin... I hope your kitty is okay. It's so hard to have a sick pet.

Sounds like the smuggler game was fun too !

Hi Kelly and Karin. We are wonderful today. My brother and parents are on their way down here to watch Kyle run in his last cross country meet. I think they will be standing in the rain. I can't go because we have a indoor cheer practice tonight and we made it mandatory that you come or you can't go to competition. At least my brother will take lots of pictures so it will seem like I was there!

Have a great day everyone!

Karin, I forgot to tell you good luck with your kitty. Mine is sitting on my lap as I type this. It's great to have a cat for 16 years but we get very attached to them.

Miss Cynde, Cynde who? I seem to remember someone with that name a long time ago. Hope she's having a great time whoever she is.

Karin, hope all goes well for your old kitty. Now on that smugglers game, what happens if you get caught, do they smoke all the contraband?

Cynde is peeking at us thru the kelp beds right now! LOL.

Karin, I do hope Kayleigh will be all right...isn't she the snow kitty I love so much? She is just soooo beautiful. Or is she the black kitty? All of your kitties are so cute. I hope she will be fine. Keep us posted. Carole

Carole, Kayleigh is our black cat. Florian is the snow cat, he is only 1 year old. She is doing a little better again, today, no results from the vet yet. Although I am starting to think it's not something physical. We now have the idea that she did fall down or something like that and got hurt and broosed (sp) badly, which made her stop eating and drinking, especially because we where not there for the 2 days. Now we pamper her, and after she got some fluids she gets better every day, eats more and more, and also she starts to walk better. She already has a little tummy again, strange to see, because otherwise she is so thin.
In the smuglers game, when you get caught, you can trade some stuff, most of the customs etc we encountered where not very honest either, lol
