You might check with the Plaza. They offer many facilities for non-guest snorkelers. However, be aware that they charge $15-20 per person on days when a cruise ship is in town. Another suggestion is to travel light. Carry your ID and money on your person in a water-proof pouch (or let it get wet) and don't leave any valuables unattended and you should be OK. That is what we do when we drive to snorkel sites around the island.

none of the resorts offer that service presently. I also suggest to travel light, leave valuables aboard the ship.

The Dive Inn, that is located right on the water near where the ship is docked, has a pier, beach and snorkel/dive area right there. They have lockers also... Check with them as you get off the boat and go to the right on the main road...
