Another great visit to Eden Beach, Wannadive and the Island of Bonaire. This was our 7th year in a row.

Eden Beach had a bit of activity associated with the new restaurant, but overall the transition went well. I think the new restaurant will be an improvement for them.

Like last year, cruise ship visitors to the beach caused parking lot congestion when the taxi cabs arrived for drop off and pick up. Having the new parking lot available will hopefully correct this.

My rental car had a slow leak and the tire went flat by day number 7. Then the battery died. They eventually sent out a mechanic to fix both and the truck was available for the remainder of the stay.

Wannadive was great, as usual. The diving was excellent. I did notice MANY lionfish, I rarely saw one last year. I think it is time to allow dive instructors to spear as many as they can.

Overall, another excellent 2 weeks in Bonaire. Hopefully, next year will make year number 8.

Spearing by local residents is actually allowed already. We use the ELF tool and there is quite a lot of active hunters out there.
