Brought 9 divers (all Bonaire virgins, 2 new to Caribbean water) for a week stay at Eden Beach. All of us did 10-20 dives, mostly southside, but had to take them to Oil Slick, Ole' Blue (Tolo) and Karpata. Bonaire must have been great, because one of the wives cried about having to leave (even though she had been on numerous cruises & other dive trips). Eden Beach is going thru a major renovation to match ammenities at the newer resorts. One good change is they have free wi-fi now for guests. Bob, Jeffrey & the Wannadive crew (Bart was on holiday) were fantastic, as usual. We're planning a return trip in the spring.
Transportation - my son & I took the Continental red-eye. Gave us an extra day for diving, groceries and laying around. I would definitely do the red-eye again, just to get the extra day on the front end. The remainder of the group took Insel from Miami. They all said plane interior was a little worn & food wasn't very good (who's is nowadays). They were 45 minutes late arriving Bonaire and 90 minutes late leaving (due to a sick passenger that wouldn't exit the plane), but otherwise they didn't have any big issues with Insel.
