Very nice Debs. The one French Angel looks like it could be a PS painting. The Lionfish looks like it should be on Dante's Inferno.

Debbie, thanks for sharing. Is picture 22 a frogfish? I know it seems like a stretch, but it looks like an eye, mouth, foot etc. I've never seen the dolphins so those pics are a special treat :)

OMG, thx! Great pics. How long have you been there, are these all from the same time period?

I mean, we love bonaire but have never seen every single fish you have in one trip (eagle rays, DOLPHIN, turtle, eels, stingrays, etc). Don't get me wrong, we've seen 'em all, but for example, last year I don't think we saw one turtle in a whole week. Never seen a dolphin, underwater although we have from shore.
The reefs look like they are recovering too, last year they were pretty bleak to us.
Going back at end of April, and this has us really looking forward to it (with the exception of the crime factor which seems to be getting so out-of-control with nothing being done - really has me freaked and this is not same as "it happens all the time, just pay attention", when people are coming into your rooms and robbing you - not typical petty crime anymore; I'm afraid we'll likely stop going as a result :( ; but this helps uplift us to look forward to this next trip-hopefully we'll get there and back without being victimized or physically harmed) - thx!

debbie and dawn, picture 22 looks like maybe a slender fishfish in the coral...r possibly a damselfish or butterfly fish swimming in the coral. that's what i saw right in the middle of the picture.

Thank you for sharing, Debbie! I loved them!!! I am supposed to be packing my clothes for Bonaire as we speak, but I took a little timely detour to view your pics...great job!

I'd say pic 22 is a sharpnose puffer--slightly blurred. I feel pretty confident in that ID as I have plenty of my own blurred shots of sharpnose puffers for comparison. They never want to stay still and head for cover as soon as I try getting closer.
