have had a great trip so far. we've talked to some BT'ers but have only had the chance to see corney ann and john...and that was a little while ago at bobbejan's. well, we have seen debbie b and bill manley but debbie lives near us and we knew bill would be here. we know more of you will be here soon...i still have BT pins for anyone who shows up at our place.

diving has been good. have seen a huge stingray, a few lionfish, two lobsters, a seahorse yesterday, and lots of other great things.

today was the 20k walk or 45k ride for jong bonaire. it went well even though we didn't have water for showers when we got home. water is back on now so all is good.

computer battery is low so i'll post more once it's charged up.

We got here Saturday afternoon. Did our orientation yesterday, will get our first dive in this morning.
Only BT's met so far, are Alan & Joan Zale (since we are renting from them); really great to get to 'overlap' for a night every few years so we get to see them.
We have internet access available from the room this year, so will be spending much less time sitting in front of Michael's.
Also have brought a fresh supply of buttons for anybody around Sand Dollar, B6. Will leave a few laying on the outside railing in case you stop-by and we're out diving or shopping.
Oh, and yes we did get to see Corney & John briefly before boarding the flight in Atlanta.

Have a blast as well Chet. Safe diving.

We should be seeing you's guys next week. Save some fun for the rest of us.

Chet....would you mind hiding an extra button for Unit A1 somewhere secret. I won't be there until April 10, but I want one of these elusive buttons

Well Dern it!!! Despite the best of efforts, we couldn't get our stuff together to have an "official" meeting with Pat. We did stop by to meet him and his crew when they were at Pasa Bon Pizza, but for some reason we just were never able to stop by to say hi! This just means we will have to arrange another trip to meet up!

Quick notes before our official trip report: my two concerns which were staying at the Waterlands so close to the airport and the car rental both proved to be non-issues. Waterlands is ABSOLUTELY wonderful and almost zero airplane noise. John with Voyager was super helpful and even loaned us his personal car to scoot around the island while our car was getting cleaned. More on this later, but overall the trip was AMAZING!

kaly, it was great seeing you, even if it was for just a few minutes. see? i told you you'd be planning another trip....we'll get together then....and i'll save you a 2010 button
