My husband and I received a phone call from back to the Caribbean , in regard to an entry form we filled out. We signed up with them 9 months ago and just completed the last leg of our package. We had no problems booking or getting our first choice of dates.. I am a teacher and my time off is valuable and we had an amazing vacation !! The diving in Mexico is incredible .. My husband and I give Back to the Caribbean 2 thumbs up and will travel with them again.. I have taken the time to compose this blog because I am tired of the complainers!! You saved a lot of money and if you were given a trip around the world first class, you would find something to complain about!! Be grateful you were chosen!!

Gia,
I'm sorry, but for a teacher, you do not explain yourself very well. I really hope you do not teach communications or english. I have no idea what you are talking about, lol
Vince, I thought you were kidding about the ilovemexico.com, but it really does exist, :>)

Stranger yet, if you google"back to the caribbean" the only thing that comes up is that post and one other about 2 years ago on Bonairetalk.
Then try "back to the caribbean scam"
Mick

This Gia girl's name is real Gina and she is a sells manager for Back to the Caribbean A.K.A Back to Fun. I use to work for this company and it is nothing but a scam for them to make money. They sell you a package and list all these locations, that you can travel to ya right!!!! Once you go to book they tell you it is not available and you must now take a 90 min tour of the location. Sad thing is they have to pay their employee's to write nice things about their company under a complaint site. She is trying to sell a package to you right now hahaha

Well, if she sells as well as she articulates, she'll be out of a job in no time.

Lisa..Your first impression was correct..Really, I just made it up..But since I have absolutely no plans of ever returning again to Mexico I have no desire to even check it out.

When we were in Coz, we were basically held prisoner by the hotel when we attempted to check out alleging that we stole liquor from the in room refrigerator. The taxi driver that was to take us to the airport would not budge until we were "shaken down" & agreed with the hotel management that we should pay more $$.

Ever since, it has left a bad taste in my mouth & we will never set foot in Mexico again. Really, one helluva way to treat a guest.

Vince,
I think I'd feel the same way if I had your experience. You hate when you know people are taking advantage of you, and then it's worse when you're in a foreign country and you have absolutely no control over it.
The only time I ever feel cheated in Bonaire is when I have to leave and come home...........

My only experiences in Mexico were in Tijuana, as a nineteen year old Marine. They were the most insane times I have ever witnessed. There really was a Juicy Lucy. I will never, in this lifetime, set foot in Mexico again. I did like the Lucy show, I must say. Donkeys are amazing animals. :-)

Oh, and back to the original post. That gets the biggest WTF out of me ever on this board.

admit it jim, the reason you won't set foot in mexico is because they still have your picture posted at the border and they won't let you in. but you'd still have to admit that tijuana back then was an experience not to be missed.

Pat, you are absolutely right. I just don't think my heart could take it. :-) It was a surreal place.

I'll have to throw in for Cozumel. I've been there 4 times, loved it everytime...

I love Bonaire.

They are different types of vacations, but both can be great.

Vince, sorry you had a bad experience. My only bad experience was the last trip with my ex... nuff said. :-)
