The first night, I didn’t sleep well, but I did sleep. I really needed an extra pillow (I use three at home) and had requested one from Al in addition to more towels (we were supposed to start with 6, but only had 3 and by this time I had already taken 2 showers myself) I used an extra seat cushion back to prop up my pillow and I slept alright. Another concern on my mind I’d forgotten to mention in my previous trip report, is that my debit card had been declined at the gas station and I had no idea why. I knew there were problems back home with compromised debit cards, so that was worrying me.

Anyhow, we got up on Monday morning and at breakfast in the room (we had also stopped for supplies at Cultimara on Sunday). Amanda was working until 12:30, so not wanting to try to figure out my way around without her and get stressed again, I decided to park by the water and check out the sights over there (like MY PIER!!)…we parked and walked up and down the water area, sticking our feet in next to yellow sub, sitting on the bench by yellow sub and I made my "pier appearance" and we even went inside the dive shop looking to buy bottled water (and were offered free water from a jug – more of the friendliness thing!) We walked into town and had Whataburger for lunch, which was delicious and then at 12:30, we picked Amanda up and went to Lac Bay where we went swimming, or at least "hanging out in the water" which was great and relaxing. Then we had to take Amanda back for more work, so Andrea and I went back to our room to relax a bit and then we had dinner with Amanda at Coco’s which was also very good and then we spent a little time at CIEE with her and using the internet and then went back to our room and relaxed some more and went to bed. I was experiencing on and off anxiety, but it was subsiding....
