Returned yesterday and had a wonderful time. The water and snorkling were great. Enjoyed meeting Jake and the Bonaire talkers Tuesday night at Gib Gib's . Took the ferry to Curaceo which was fun Ruth my spouse had problems on the way back . On Curaceo we rode the public buses all around the island. Have some extra tickets if anyone wants them. Connected with C. H. and family and our daugters played basketball which was super.We recommend City Cafe and Bobbiejan's Barbque ate at both 3 times. Phil

Could you tell me more about the ferry? How often does it run and how much does it cost? Can you take a bus from the airport to the ferry? Also how long is the ride? Thanks for your help. I didn't even know there was a ferry.

Glad to hear you had a great time, Phil..it really would be a rarity if you did not! I'll beet you are hooked on Bonaire, now, right? It is truly a magical place. Have not been to Curacao as yet...we never want to leave Bonaire...especially to return home! Carole

Due to the somewhat rough ride back (sometimes) some people opt to take the ferry over and fly back on Divi Divi.
