Day Three

Got up at 7:30 and took my daughter for her first day at the kids program at the dive shop. My husband and I then went for two dives at Bari reef to check out our camera equipment. We ran into a Octopus on the way out about ten feet from the dock laying inn the sand. Octopus The camera is new to us and is a Panasonic DMW-MCTZ5 with the Lumix housing. This is a much better camera then the SEA And SEA with strobe we used last year and much less expensive. The camera has an underwater setting to help with color correction underwater. dive2 dive2 dive3 dive4

Then after we turned around I had a remora fall in love with me and follow me the rest of the dive. It was trying to find a place to attach itself to me. I was sad to leave my new pet at the end of the dive.
Completed the two dives and I was a bit cold so we put our gear away and headed up to our room for a nice lunch. That was about it for the day. Relaxed and read and went into tow for the rest of the afternoon.

Lynn, sounds like you are having a ball! What size was the Ramora? Just remember Ramora's alway have a host! Small ones can move with turtles, and larger one move with Larger HOST'S!
No worry on Bonaire, but there are places in the world when you see a Ramora of size, you must find it's host... Ron
