Just curious if any of the famous posters I've been reading so much from over the last 6 months would happen to be around the same week we will ?? Thanks so much to all of you, I've been cutting and pasting all my saved highlights from Undercurrent and BT into printable docs all day as my last minute prep. I think I have a great list of sites and restaurants to be sure to try. We finally decided on Sand$ based on package deal and reviews here. So again thanks.

Debbie - still here just slept in to get ready for the redeye and long drive. We are in SE VA but chose to drive to EWR to save $400+ per cpl and lessen chances of losing luggage at connections. So I'll be on the road at 1pm.

All - what does the checkout dive consist of ? We are gonna be running on 3-4 hrs sleep and are not looking forward to tests.

Scott...Don't worry. no tests will be administered to you.
The check out dive is really a get re acquainted with your equipment again. Check out for proper weighting, functionality of all equipment & what I call "getting back into the groove" underwater. Enjoy your trip!

Scott, they don't go on the dive with you, they just ask you do the dive at the house reef, and as Vince said, check weighting, bouyancy, etc. have a great trip!

Thanks guys that's good news, I definitely need to check out my weighting with my new lights. They are incredibly heavy on land but I hope they are neutral underwater. We just weren't looking forward to some clear your mask test with contact lenses glued to our eyeballs from sleeping with them on the plane.

Scott, will try to spot you at the airport, if you hear a woman walking around, saying, "YooHoo, Scott, where are you?" That would be me. LOL! Or better yet, anyone going to Bonaire? That is a great conversation starter.
