I received a letter back from the Bonaire Police. Not good, but at least communication back. I wish he would have at least spelled my name right. I blanked out our last names and anything x'd is just for privacy.

Dear Cathy H***,

In pursuance of your email, concerning your articles that was stolen from the apartment "xxxxx" on Bonaire, I will tell you that in connection with this case, the police arrested three suspects. All of them denied having something to do with this fact. On the day of burglary in your apartment the detective of the investigation department couldn't found any useful fingerprint which indicate that one of the three suspects have committed the fact.
Cristine H****, Autumn H**** and Larry H*** were also victims. There properties were stolen on the same date in the same apartment. . Through deficiency evidence the Public Prosecutor had to release the arrested persons/suspects.
The investigation is not ready yet. We have attention for your problem. We are doing our best to solve this problem.

**So some people were caught, released, the crime is not solved, but they are still working on it. I'm going to continue to try to keep our case active, though I won't make myself crazy doing it. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Thanks for letting us know what they had to say, Kathy. Maybe the fact that three persons were "detained" might be enough to prevent/retard those particular folks from engaging in this activity in the future. One can only hope.

Thanks for the update Kathy. Well if the perps were wearing latex gloves they won't find those fingerprints. And I'm sure if they commit other crimes they're smart enough to wear them.I wonder what the grounds they had to view them as suspects and to apprehend them were.

Vince, that's what I asked. I hate to act like a snapping turtle who's bit on and won't let go, but I am going to make sure that I stay on this. Not too much or too hard, and with grace and tact, but I want to know when and if they officially give up if nothing else.
