ok...i'm going to try and post a few pics. i think i've resized them enough that they might work. i'll start off with one or two and add more later. i agree with marge's philosophy...if i don't have the quality, i'll make up for it in quantity.

hey, it worked. and i didnt' want to imply that marge didn't take good pics...but like me, she took a lot. i haven't seen marge's pics yet but i'm sure they're great.

thanks everybody. as i said, i think i took about a thousand pics underwater (we did 55 dives each this trip) so i guess i should expect a dozen or so good ones...especially with digital. i like being able to take a pic and see right away if it was any good or not (altho some didn't look as good when i put them on the tv back at the house). before, with film, i'd take about 20 rolls and was sure i had award winning pics on every roll...then i'd get them processed and would be shocked to find i was wrong.

a few months ago the cover of alert diver magazine had a picture of a shark (mostly the mouth). that was taken by david haas who lives near me and helped me pick out the housing and flash. he's going to go over my pics and offer some tips. if his tips don't work it will be because the student wasn't paying attention.

Great photos. Do you have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements? If so, you might be able to get some of the blue out of your more distant shots.
