Flight:
We took Air Jamaica from Chicago to Montigo Bay then on to Bonaire, All went we were an hour late leaving Chicago due to de-icing of plane. Arrived in Bonaire only an hour late. No problems all luggage arrived with us. Flight back all went well also.
This was my third trip to Bonaire and have taken Air Jamaica all three times and have never had a problem.

Accommodations:
We stayed at The Golden Reef Inn in one of the 1 bedroom Apts. Liz, Ed and Staff were wonderful. What a relaxing place to stay, we loved it and will stay with them next trip.

Dining:
Sat: Pizza Bon, It was great. Best pizza on Island.
Sunday: Patagonia, Service fast, Good food good drinks good time.
Monday: Gibi’s Bar B Que @ GRI everything he cooked was great. What a great Chef.
Had a good time with all other guests, once again good food, good people, good time.
Tue: Had sushi at sushi bar (cant remember name) service good, have had better but good non the less.
Wed: This was my 50th birthday and we went to Richards. What can I say but Superb.
Thru: Lions Den at Buddy Dive before night dive. Always good.
Fri: Blue Cactus, Everything was great.
All in all we didn’t have any trouble with any place we went to.

Diving:
We were on a relaxed vacation so we didn’t push the diving, only made 14 dives.
The Lake
Tori’s Reef twice, one was night dive during full moon, what an experience.
Oil Slick twice
Ole blue
Andrea 1
Yellow Submarine
Something Special
Boca Slagbaai
Bachelors Beech
Buddy Dive night dive
Witches Hut
We did get a hold of Bas for dive at Cai, great dive, Bas is great. Would recommend this dive to everyone.

All of the dives were great, Saw tons of everything, Never a bad dive on Bonaire.
A bad dive on Bonaire is far better than any good dive in a mid west rock quarry.

The only crime we experienced on Bonaire was that the time stole by to quickly.
Planning next trip already.
Here are a few Pictures I took with new Camera, still learning how to use it.
Pictures taken with a Sea Life DS600.

Beautiful pictures! And I will be on the lookout for that darn time thief! It always steals the time so quickly while vacationing.

I think few people have ever seen a free-swimming seahorse. I have--but only in an aquarium! What did it look like? I mean, I've read that they move very slowly. Did you watch it for awhile? What a great birthday present!

Great pictures with the new camera.
Was it the SeaLife SL160 DC600 Reefmaster 6.1MP Underwater Digital Camera. I couldn't find a DS600 model.
Looks like we may have crossed paths a few times as we were there at about the same time and did a lot of the same dive spots (and restaurants).
I think I recognize that shy spotted drum from oil slick :-)

Good morning everyone,
Sorry I haven't responded sooner but have been away from computer since Sat.
We watched the seahorse for about 15 min, took a few pics but felt we were bothering it so we left it alone, we stayed way back from it and just watched.
Yes Frank the camera is a DC600, I fat fingered it in the report, my mistake. Yes the spotted Drum was from Oil slick, we saw about 15 of them to the north on that dive. I have other pics of them also. Will post more pics soon. I did here some other divers say that there wasnt much life on reefs. I had to wait till fish got out of the way so I could get the pic I wanted. I'm not sure where they were diving, as always the reef life was wonderful. We did add a few new fish to the list. One that we saw up at Boca Slagbaai was a pair of Indigo Hamlets. Didnt have camera on that dive. I love the hamlets. PBS has set in and cant wait till next trip, maybe in Sept.

Great report and really nice pics too! One question - did you only use the camera flash or did you buy the external strobe? I still have a few weeks till my trip and need to buy a camera soon!
