Back from our first trip to Bonaire, and we have major PBD! What a fabulous trip. I got in 19 dives, my hubby 20 dives, and two others in our little group did 21 dives. Woke up to -1 at home Sunday morning, that was a shock to the system.

Sightings included lots of seahorses (5 on one dive, Enrique at Divi Dive is the seahorse king!), our first frogfish, a spotted eagle ray (my husband saw two), several turtles, a couple of octopus during daytime dives, a huge green moray eel, lots of other types of eels, and of course tons and tons of fish.

Loved our view from the ocean front room at the Divi Flamingo. Weather was great, water temp was a little cooler than I thought it would be, around 78. It was great to have the option of walking into town from the Divi.

I'll post a more thorough report later, here's a few pictures from one of our last dives at Calabas Reef, the house reef at the Divi.

Nice seahorse. Where was it on the reef?

The seahorse was at about 38 ft. of water, to the south of the anchor at Calabas Reef. There was a square plastic lid on the sea floor that was close to it.

WOW.....Connie! LOVE the pics. I am ashamed to say in all the years of Bonaire diving (12) I have seen maybe 3 of those elusive Seahorses. I'm sure I have flown by many and never known it :-( Next trip a guide is gonna accompany me that knows who, what & where they are. You done good!
