We had a group of 9 this year, with only 4 divers and 1 off the divers was not there the whole trip. So, we spent a large amount of time snorkeling at Sand Dollar. WOW!
We saw squid, octopus, many eels and the fish were incredible!
The night snorkel and diving is easy at the pier at Sand $ - no hassles like I've seen at Cpt Don's or Buddy.
The new balls in the area have already started attracting eels and small fish. So, they are a good/must see for the new snorkelers in the group. Overall it was great to see so much while top-side!

I have been to Sand Dollar 5 or 6 times. The snorkeling is great. I have to agree that this is one of the best places to snorkel in the world.

The night snorkeling for me is the best. It is very easy and the number of critters are to numerous to count.
