Greetings all. I wanted to post some feedback from our recent trip to our favorite island. The flight with Continental was good, only about half full both ways. We chose Den Laman and Bonaire Dive & Adventure. Wow! I was really impressed with Den Laman. Great rooms, super aircon, wonderful staff. The nicest place on Bonaire that we have ever experienced. Note: the aircon played a major part of our decision in accomodations. The dive operator, Bon D&A, was very good as well. We all got our Nitrox certification the first day and I took a underwater photography class with the on-site photo shop, Fish-Eye Photo. Tim is a very smart guy and really knows his business. He spent about 4 hours with me, including a dive on Bari Reef and his instruction really paid off. I very much recommend his course to anyone interested in taking better pics. The week was full of great dives, good food, and friendly folks. Our dives were all from shore except for a single tank on Klein Bon. All the shore dives were great. We replayed some of our favorites and tried some new ones. One week just isn't enough(I say that after every trip). Bottom line; try Den Laman and Bon D&A on your next trip. You will be happy divers, I'm sure. I'll get a few of my pics together, figure out how to post them. I wish they were better but as I said one week isn't long enough. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions, just ask.

We stayed at the adjacent Sand Dollar Condo complex in May and didn't realize there were fully A/C newer units so close.

Thanks to your report, I have checked their web site and know where we will stay in 2007.

This is not a knock on Sand Dollar, we enjoyed our week with them. I just like the amenities that Den Laman appears to offer.
