I know that rain will hardly damper the shine of such a paradise, but along with some amazing dives I was also hoping to get the chance to bask in the sun. I just looked at the weather forecast for next week and it looks like rain almost every day. Is the rain in Bonaire short and sweet?

Angela, BE careful of the Bonaire Sun!! Over Basking in it can ruin your vacation in about 15 minutes!! Use good sun blocker and stay covered while in the water... Ron

I was hoping if I closed my eyes long enough I would miss the rain! I have been checking out the web cams and I don't believe in 6 months I've ever seen a bad day online. Makes me wonder...is this place real?

My Sicilian skin adjust very well to the sun, but don't worry I never really bask in it like I did when I was young, AND I always wear a block, still get color even with block on!

Thanks for the tips!

Angela...I can almost guarantee that getting enough sun will be the least of your problems. You're much better off concentrating on limiting your exposure to old sol who is get really hot down there. The problem is if you're in or on the water or exposed to the breezes you're not aware of how much radiation is really pouring down on you.
