There was a coral with a bunch of Flamingo Tongues, including these two, who seem to be trying to make more...

and as you can see, the more you look, the more you see!

Count 'em -- 10!

During a time when I was looking at something small, if I recall, some Banded Coral Shrimp, I saw a little something out of the corner of my eye and was rewarded with seeing this adorable cute little Boxfish, which looks like a dice...

I found Banded Coral Shrimp all over, but a major pain to photograph, because every time you got close, one of their antennae would get close to the lens and spoof the autofocus... This is about as good as I could do, and I love how they cling to the ceiling!

Of course, we were missing our dogs, Nanuk and ZoeBear, and we can only imagine that they were missing us as well...

But as much as we love our dogs, we were having so much fun seeing things like -

This Porcupine, who was quite large, I guess it to be 18-22 inches long,

Wonderful soft corals

And lots of interesting fish

Laurie was quite good as finding the Scorpionfish

And I needed a photo of an adult Drum to show people what the juvenile grows into, I didn't see many until the last day, where there a zillion at Barkadera

I really like this picture of the Cowfish, he was at Bonaventure on Klein

Wonderful pics! Wish I was there!

A couple of points of identification: I believe your 'Wonderful soft coral's are sponges. The upper one is likely a Purple Tube Sponge and the lower a Blue Vase Sponge. The 'boxfish' is a juvenile Smooth Trunkfish. All from Stokes.

Nanuk and Zoebear both look as thought they are missing you.

Most excellent pictures. Pretty good for a newbie. That Sony R1 is a premo camera. I was just admiring one yesterday at the local lighthouse. This gentleman leaves the Nikon D10 at home for the Sony.

Remember the only cure for PBD (post Bonaire Depression) is to book another trip.

This crab was totally amazing - just perched on the sea fan, happily sitting around enjoying the day. Witch's Hut, taken a few minutes after the squid flew thru.
