1. Is Dutch Caribbean Airways (aka ALM) now the only air transportation from Bonaire to Aruba? AA has stopped its intra-island service.

2. I am coming to Bonaire, then going to Aruba. A DCA spokeswoman implied that the restrictions on luggage are stricter going between islands than the normal restriction from the USA. The normal restrictions are as follows:

o carry-on max : 8kg (17.64 lbs)
o 1st check-in max : total 62" and 70 lbs.
o 2nd check-in max : total 55" and 70 lbs.

Anyone have any problems within these limits when traveling between islands?

The usa is one of the few countries with as liberal luggage allowance as you mention. Mostly here we are limted to 20 kilos...then we pay. Avia air and Royal Aruban now fly between Bonaire and Aruba.
