Too tired tonight to talk about it. Arrived home last night at 9 pm and (drat it all) had to work today!

Let me just say this...the time was great, great new friends, great diving and a thoroughly enjoyable time. Didn't realize that spare tires were in short supply. But to add insult to injury, they stole the beer and cheese.

2nd Episode. My suggestion if you stay at Divi Flamingo, plan your car rental around the days that you may not dive (such as the day before you dive). This will save you money and you can also take advantage of the boat dive, that we found to visit most of the shore locations we had planned to dive anyway. Believe me, we are die-hard shore divers and with the exception of one night dive, all the rest could have been accomplished from the boat during the 7 days that we dove. The dive masters and captains were eager to take requests for dive location requests. Next time we rent for 2 days max (this time we had a car for the whole duration).

We were also at Divi that week. We were on Rufino and Laurels boat and went shore diving everyday. Were you with the Rec Diving Crew also?

No, we were a couple. Most of the time the rec divers had a boat(s) to themselves. We did about half our dives driving by auto from shore (that's our thing when we can). We had a great time and dove with Laurel, Rufino, Ludi(?) and several others. Hope you had as good a time as we did, in spite of the "spare tire episode".
Where was the Rec Diving Group from?

The Rec diving group is mainly from outside of Detroit Michigan. They have been taking groups to Bonaire for many years. My wife thought of the trip as my 40th birthday present. Three of my friends who dive went with me for the "Boys" trip. Our group was easy to spot. My friend Joe is 5' in height, Brad is 6'8" and my brother and I fell in between in height. We had a great time and will return one day, however there are many Islands we have yet to visit.......
