Had 2 wonderful dives on the east side of Bonaire yesterday. We went with Larry on his boat. I had only done some shore dives on the east side about 10 years ago and I must say that going with Larry is the way to go. First his boat is awesome, specially designed for the rougher conditions on the east side, entry and exit super easy. The boat handles the waves beautifully you could barely feel that it is a bit rougher, a very smooth ride.

Cool. We're booked with Wild Larry 30 October - we'll have the video camera with us so I'll try and post the "Wild Side Video" assuming the video comes out half way decent.

Great Marcus! Can't wait to see the video. I have never dove on Wild Side, but I have been hearing so many good things, I just think I will have to take my hubby and give it try on our next visit! Thanks for your report, Divechick. Did yu take any pictures??? Would love to see them.

Thanks for the report - we are figuring out our group for the Wild Side in Dec/Jan. Do you know how many Larry can take?

We went with Larry on Thursday of last week and had an awesome time!! I was very impressed with the level of safety that he takes with his operation. We dove with Martin on both dives and could not have been more pleased. It was our group of four, but I think that he can take up to 12. The boat was extremely easy to get in and out of. The dives were very interesting and we saw lots of large life...green morays, spotted eagle rays, a HUGE turtle, schooling tarpon, and of course the pristine reefs that the island is so famous for. Here is the website for him. Best to call him directly to set something up.

The maximum Larry takes on his boat is 10 divers, and the minimum is two, hope this clears up some questions. Your best bet is to try and call him directly, his number is (599) 717-5246 or (599) 790-9156. You will speak with either Janice or Larry.

My son and I dove with Larry during the first week of September. I'll never dive Bonaire without at least one trip with Larry. In the Blue Hole we saw several large Green Moray Eels, countless Tarpons, a Nurse Shark, two large turtles, and many other fish. Larry is a wild man with a great boat and offers a great dive package!

We dove with Larry on Sunday. It's a great experience. It was interesting to see the east side's reef. It was great to see so many eagle rays. Sue

At the rate his popularity is increasing, Larry may have to add another boat to his fleet. Good for him! The dive seems fun and the price seems reasonable. I wish all happy and safe diving at the wild side. Coach Izzy
