Ross and Gill. We really enjoyed our dinner with all of you at Gibi's that night. As you know, a few more people showed up after you took the group picture so we had a pretty good crowd. We just wish Gibi would put in a big ROUND table for all us BTers.

By the way, Kelly, I'm the one in the back with the white t-shirt and mustache.

Just a couple of more names, Kelly. The one next to me (you can just see her peeking out) is my wife, Sarah. Next to her is Gary and Susie Thuillier, who we spent a nice evening with later that week at Lover's Ice Cream over by the Chat 'N Browse. We of course were introduced to everyone, but I'm challenged when it comes to remembering names. Sorry. Sarah also took a lot of pictures that night, but we're still trying to figure out how to "re-size" them so we can post 'em. If you, or anyone else, can give me some hints, that would be great.

Richard

Richard, I open my pictures in the paint program and resize them there, then resave as a jpeg for posting. That seems to work for me.

Thanks for the names, it's always great to put a face with a name, and even better to meet other BTers at Gibi's. It's one of my favorite things !

Richard, thanks for naming names! I too am horrible with names..however at left front are Tom and Julie Brennan, and to the right, blocking out Jake is my wife Gill...I am just this side of the camera!

Question: I looked at this post at work and could just barely make out any of the details in either of the building photos, yet at home they appear just fine.

For example at work the bottom photo was so dark you could not read Gibi's on the side of the bldg. never mind being able to tell the color of the letters (yellow and red) Kelly, I presume by your post they looked OK to you?

For Richard: the two lower photos are resized to 600x450 pixels at 72 dpi using Photoshop. The photo of the crowd was cropped to a smaller size to get it below the 50K size limit..hope that helps.

Ross,
The top photo is the one I find darker and unable to read the sign. Nice group shot though. Hope you all made the trip home OK. We got back at our house around 2AM. Too bad we never got a chance to dive together but great meeting everyone.

Gary, yes I find that one a tad dark as well.
Sorry we stood you up on the night dive...perhaps next time we meet. (warm water only!)

We missed our connection in Atlanta at 10:53pm by about 5 minutes...had to over night. We were able to experience the thrill of the hotel fire alarm going off at about 2:30 am. Phoned the front desk, who reported that nothing was wrong and they would be making an announcement soon. A rather interesting strobe light show was available for viewing on the hotel exterior. Sheer Joy.

Ross - thanks for posting the pictures.

We also had a great time, not only hanging out with Ross and Gill all week, but meeting everyone at Gibi's. I agree a round table would help, I never really got to talk to everyone at the other end of the rectangle. Thanks to Jake and Linda who made sure the introductions were done, and that we got our dinner orders in.

There were other BT'rs that we really wanted to try to hook up with that week, I had no idea how busy we would be (by choice of course). We can't wait to come back.
