Hey everyone, I just thought I would post a new link to my travel journal which contains a trip report from our Bonaire vacation. We were in Bonaire last December (2003) and stayed at the Divi Flamingo (loved it). Take a look at our site for a trip report and lots of photos...underwater too. Thanks and enjoy!

Hey Cyd, long time no see! :-)

Hope all is well on your end of the street. Great trip report as always.

I am heading to Bonaire in about 10 days. Pretty darn happy about that, too. :-)

Great report and photos, Cyd.....beautifully worded and layout, too. I need to be back on Bonaire...NOW! We love it at the Divi, too...we are on the timeshare side. I am in the waters at the Divi 8 hours at a clip with my mask and fins on....totally mesmerizing and sooo relaxing.

Thanks again for letting us enjoy your page. Carole

Cyd,

Great trip report...

What kind of shoes would you recommend for hiking in the parks?

I enjoyed reading many of your hiking reports! What kind of shoes were you wearing going up Katahdin? Do you always hike in low shoes? Sorry you didn't have the opportunity to do the Knife Edge. It's quite a trail!

Hey everyone, Thanks for the great responses! Glad everyone enjoyed the websites!

Kelly, --Yeah, Pick was training for the Columbus half-marathon and she did great..she came in right behind Andrea Cambern :-) I will def send you an email when Alaska is posted. Glad all is well with you.

JoAn and J--I always wear merrell low top hiking shoes..they are my favorite. Yeah, someday I will get back to the knife edge..it looks killer!

Carole, I know what you mean..I spend the whole day in the water too...love it! I just got back from Hawaii and it was amazing!! We even had the fortune of swimming with wild dolphins...we were kayaking across a bay and they came near our kayaks so we jumped in...they swam right with us..too cool! I will be adding a trip report for that trip soon--including some great photos of the dolphins. Keep a watch for it.

Thanks again everyone for the positive feedback. --Cyd
