Mikhail,
Great shots, I'm suffering a case of PBD. Not sure if they helped or made it worse:-)

Great pictures! It makes me even more excited about going to Bonaire. But I have a question. It appears from your pictures that your companion had been in the water...yet you had cameras. Did you leave them in the vehicle? How did you keep them from getting taken? Leave them on the beach? I need guidance. Thanks in advance for your help.

Mikhail,

Thank you for sharing your awesome photographs! You definitely have an eye for photo composition.

Is that a Pentax K-1000 your companion has?

Belinda

Wow! So many replies!
Freddie, my English is too plain. I promise, I'll do it in Russian in one of our diver's magazines. I published already two articles in Russia, mostly about spearfishing here and there. Now I'm tempted...
If you navigate that link some more, you might like some views of Russian river Volga and some of Long Island:

Thanks for the great photos. My wife & I are also suffering from PBD. It looks like you visited many of the same spots we did. I'm sorting through our photos and will post a link later. Thanks for sharing.

Your English too plain, I don't think so. We understood everything you said all week. I guess I am going to have to post some of my pictures with you in them to get even. :-) It was a pleasure diving and sharing a great week with you. I am still working on the CD but I promise it's coming.

Just back from my first trip to Bonaire. Elizabeth and I joined the BT dinner at Gibi's last Tuesday, and then went back to Gibi's on our own for our last night on Friday. Really enjoyed the group on Tuesday - sat with Patrick and Mary (last name??)and felt very welcomed as newcomers. Elizabeth has been to Bonaire several times and is now more convinced than ever that this is where she wants to live. And if I don't feel the same... I think Bonaire would win. Pretty special place.

Herman - you are so ****** funny!

***Belinda*** - so you don't have to read further through my droning on - yes that was a Pentax K-1000 you saw in the photo. You can throw that camera over a cliff and it will still work.

***Ann*** - to answer your question about diving and leaving camera's behind, both Kathy (Herman's wife) and myself hung around the beach at the 1,000 Steps while Herman and Mikhail went diving. However I did go back to the 1,000 steps again and took my backpack with hat, water, sunscreen etc. and left it under a tree while I dove. (I think this is a safer bet than leaving stuff in the car).

Herman I didn't think you would go ahead with the eel shot! I just saw this shot today (April 9).You'll be happy to know I made it back safe and sound without being attacked by any eels. (See my e-mail I sent to you today.) I think I saved an eel. I was hanging around on the beach at the 1,000 steps in the second week and I saw an eel pop it's head out from under a rock in about 2 inches of water. I think it got stuck there when the tide pulled out. When the people I was hanging out with returned from the dive they lifted the rock and coaxed the eel into deeper water. I still question the brain capacity of underwater life.

You're good in photoshop!

Cheers,

Kathleen
