Hi Glen! I think that CUR has more diverse flora due to the fact that they erradicated the feral donkey/goat population a while ago. I talked with Sipke once about the studies that have been conducted to assess the impact of feral populations on the diversity of plant species. In a nutshell, BON has fewer species with a higher proportion of thorny plants and plants having chemical irritants than CUR.

My husband is a Scuba enthusiast, We love Bonaire. I neither scuba nor Snorkel but am interested in the Bonaire's natural treasures. We will be on Bonaire for 8 Days in June. I would love to be part any of the environmental activities in any way I am able. Please advise if there is a way for me to do this. This will not be our last trip to Bonaire and I would like to be a positive and learning visitor.
