Bringing a newbie this year and was thinking of driving her through the park. Was wondering what was the condition of the road for the long route.. haven't been through the park in several years thanks

the road in the park is just fine .. it might suffer a bit during the rainy season which is now .. but it will be way way better than when you were here some years ago. you will be impressed with the museum as well. enjoy.

Pietri, I second your statement about the museum, very nicely kept with wonderful history information.

We did the long route a week ago with no problems. There were one or two rough areas but nothing like it used to be.

Be sure to stop at the restaurant in the park. I didn't eat anything, but the food looked good. The beer was cold and really hit the spot.
