I have been looking for the place Seroe Largu. I hear it is a good site for photos of the city. Anyone have good directions on how to get there?

Glenn it on's the official tourist map, Q11 or Points of Interest #30. I generally just do a seat of the pants navigating and just keep driving towards it, you will get there. You can pretty much see it from anywhere in the center part of the island and there are some signs.

There are afew ways but probably the easiest from Kralendjk is to head toward the Catholic church onto Kaya Korona.

Head out towards Rincon for about 3 miles and eventually you will see a property on the right hand side that has a fence made from corrugated panels depicting flags from countries around the world.

At that landmark, take a left turn and follow the road as it winds upwards. At it's peak, take the turn to the left and you will arrive at Seroe Largu.

For a different route back, go back towards the last turn and go left instead of right. This road will take you into Republiek and Noord Salina.

there used to be a sign on kaya korona right after kaya amsterdam but the seru largu part is gone now. if you see a sign for washington park and rincon, turn left at the first street after that sign and then you'll see seru largu signs on whatever road that is.

we have gotten to it that way pretty often but we have also found it on the way back from rinco...turn right at the street right after the soccer field (there is a seru largu sign there) and follow the road up the hill.

glenn, that's the great thing about being on an island...eventually you'll get back to where you want, no matter how long you've been off course. besides, unscheduled adventuring is just another way to learn more about bonaire.
